Hi lacevedo,

I've done that before with success( 4.2.3 to 4.1.3), but it really depends on the component and the version gap. If the new component is set to use any new driver or class, you can't!

I guess you would have to check the code of the component and see if there's anything special in there.

Hi

Anyone know if it's possible to use a newer component on a previous version of TIS? I mean currently we develop using TIS 4.1.3 I have seen that version 5.0.0 will include some new components I would like to use, like tOLEBDInput for example

Is there any way to use them without upgrade full TIS? Could I just copy those components from TIS 5.0.0 and use them as any other external components?

Anyone have experience doing something like that?
