Please create an issue about a problem on the "Expression Builder".

There was a confusion between "Expression editor" and "Expression builder". "Expression editor" is for me the bottom tab into tMap.

Hello,

I've found how to fixe the problem.

When the Expression Editor doesn't work in Tmap, I delete the folowling file :

D:\TOS-All-r14858-V2.4.0\workspace\myproject\configuration\ExpressionBuilder\[job_name].xml

And then the Expression Editor works well and everything else in the job seems to be ok...

Hello,

I have the same issue on TOS2.4.1.r16077

I was in Tmap, I closed  the Expression Editor and then I wanted to open it again, but it doesn't work anymore.

It is a big job, I don't do it again...
How can I fixe that?

Expression Editor works well on the other jobs.

Thanks amaumont, as it happens only in one specific job I can't describe how it came to be, it worked to a certain point and now it doesn't.

I'll wait until 2.4.1.

I have had the same experience, but nice to hear it's being fixed in the next release.

I fixed any problems with Expression Editor for next release 2.4.1. The problem you describe is one of these.

You can create now an issue in our Bugtracker by describing precisely the actions to reproduce or wait for the next release to check if your problem is resolved.

Hi shong,

I'm using TOS 2.4.0r15858 and I'm using Java.
It only happens in one job where I map several input components via tMap. It's exactly the same behaviour as described above, nothing happens when  I click on the button in the expression field. In another job in the same project I can open the expression editor.

btw. good work, TOS in global is a very useful tool!

I have the same problem, the expression builder doesn't open anymore. I restarted TOS already, same behaviour!

Has anybody an idea what I can do?

On a specific project, the expression editor will not open for me when I try to use it from within any tMap component.  I click on the button in the expression field to try to open the editor, but nothing happens.

I can open other projects, and the expression editor works as expected.  Has anybody experienced this before?  Any ideas on what I can do to correct the situation?
