Try a JDK 1.6 and it should work.

I'm following the steps in the Talend_ESB_GettingStarted_UG_421_EN.pdf user guide, to get the rent-a-car sample running. When it comes to the steps on page 20 (running .\container\bin\tesb.bat), the container does not start. Instead of seeing the image in 5.1 with the introduction and OSGi console command prompt, the console is blank and does not display a prompt. The only thing that changes is the title of the window to "Karaf". I'm using Windows 7 with JDK 1.7. Am I missing an environment variable? Something else?
