Issue with TAC - Talend 5.1.1 accessing with visual svn server 2.5.5 on LINUX CentOS 5.4
if you install newer version it is recommended that you install it over the old version to keep all information (see also visual svn server homepage)
Is it necessary to uninstall older versions of VisualSVN Server for installing the new version i.e. Visual SVN Server 2.5.1???

btw we were using Windows Server 2003
I am the customer at the "customer site".
Unfortunately all of the logfiles were scrubbed upon installing the previous version of vsvn as he said.
it works .... that's the main think :-)
If I get the opportunity to try the newer version I'll let you know

Jim
Hi
Could you show me the error message?
A screenshot is preferred.
Best regards!
Pedro
alright, i had
- subversion visual server, installed on Win7 with "HTTPS" on standard port 443, a subversion repository called "mdm" with a standard project structure
- Talend MDM 4.2.3 EE
- TAC URL https://<hostname>:443/svn/mdm - TAC connection was confirmed as successfull - so far so good
- when i remotely logged into TAC with the Eclipse client i got an error message saying something like ...canonically...
I assume that TAC had a problem to create the trunk structure on SVN. I could reproduce the error but I am not at the partner site anymore.
After that I switched back to SVN 2.1.9 and it worked without any problem

Hi Robert
Could you show more details about this issue?
Have you reseted the svn parameters in TAC configuration correctly?
Recheck the Repositories URL of VisualSVN 2.5.1 and 2.1.9.
Best regards!
Pedro
Today i installed Visual SVN Server 2.5.1 together with Talend MDM EE and had problems to get a connection between TAC and SVN. I went back to SVN 2.1.9 and it worked.
