Thanks Pedro. Would it be possible to let me know when this is resolved?
Hi
We have communicated with our IT department.
It will be fixed soon.
Best regards!
Pedro
Unfortunately, this does not help pedro. If the recipient had "Display your e-mail address" enabled in their profile, of course I would be able to just send them an email using my email client. Instead, their profile setting is "Hide your e-mail address but allow form e-mail." When I click the link for that user (alevy), it displays the browser form, as it should. However, in both IE and Firefox, when I submit the form, it returns the error mentioned above. Furthermore, I believe I have used this capability at least a couple times in the past and it has worked.
Could you please look into this more deeply Pedro?
Thanks so much.
Hi
Only the forum user set 'Display your e-mail address.'--'Privacy'--'Profile'.
Then you can send an email by your local email client.
Using the Email link and Editing email in browser may not support STMP protocal.
Hope this will help you.
Best regards!
Pedro
When I try to send an email to a forum user (using the Email link below their name), I receive the following:
Error: Unable to send e-mail. Please contact the forum administrator with the following error message reported by the SMTP server: "550 5.7.1 Client does not have permissions to send as this sender ".
Can you please help me with this?
Thanks,
