Hello mhirt,

well, I think the Routine was not under the Modules until I found the way to add an external Jar using "Edit Routine Libraries" in the context of the created routine (named UserHTTP). After adding the needed Jars it works.

It was not easy to find the way to include the Jar in the project... Wouldn't it be clearer to have under "Repository > Code" another folder named "User Libraries", like the folder "Routines"?

I still do not understand though why the Jars were found in the other perspectives and not in the default "Design Workspace Perspective"...

Thanks for your help,

eripet

Hello,

Can you see your Jar in the Module view ?
If this is not the case, can you try to use the Refresh button on module right top corner ?

Hello,

an error occurs "only" in the Design Workspace Perspective in TOS (using 2.2.4).

An external class seems not to be found in the DW Perspective while starting a Job.

I defined a user routine that is being used in a Java Component that imports the classes it needs, but they seem not to be found while running the job in the default TOS perspective (DW).

Using the Java Perspective or the Debug Perspective eliminates the problem. This means, the DW Perspective cannot be used to run the Job...

The exception thrown is:

Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError:
org/apache/commons/httpclient/methods/RequestEntity
...

Is there a problem in the TOS configuration that I may be missing?

Thanks!!
