They are indeed outdated. We are working hard to update them with changes in 5.0.X release, in the meantime see this thread for more information:

Hi,

Are the tutorials out of date?

For example, I have not been able to see an image like this one http://www.talendforge.org/tutorials/da … /132on.png  at all.

I'd like to trace things, but it has not been possible for me to figure out how to do so based on these tutorials.
