For some reason records are going through, even though I would expect them to be rejected.  I want records that have no value on the input value to be treated is null, but that doesn't seem to be happening.  My input file is pipe delimeted, and the first field is required.  My guess is if the first field is blank, it is just coming in as "", which of course isn't null.  Any idea on the best way to resolve this?
