I have also tested this file with v4 and had the same error.
Tested file with v3.2 and the tutorial works with no problem.

I tested it and got the same problem, I have reported a [Bugtracker] bug 11135.
You can download the stable version TOS3.2.3 and test again.

Sorry. I get the same results if I use Delimited versus CSV. My picture shows CSV.

Greetings All,
I downloaded Talend today to evaluate it power and immediately ran into a problem doing my first demo project, the Demo5mn project located in the tutorials.
As I try to ass the .csv file, I get the following error. I believe my encoding settings are correct and are exactly like the demo suggests.
The statistics socket port -1 is invalid.
Preview error. Some settings must be changed.
Note: Preview errors are generally due to a wrong encoding setting.
