XML file / template generation

I am new to this tool so bare with me.
Can Talend's ETL tool generate and XML doc from a pre-existing table (DDL)?
In other words, after pointing Talend to a table in a data warehouse, can the tool (or any Talend tool) generate an XML file that defines the format of the raw (flat file) data that will be used to populate said table?
