Re: LDAP invalid name, how to solve this .... VERY IMPORTANT !!!!!!

Hi,

In my case.
Base DN : ""
User : cn=sistemas, ou=sites,dc=homologacoes,dc=aena,dc=int"

and in your tMap :
Var.id (ex : row1.id or other from EXA user id) will be "CN="+ Var.id + ",ou=sites,dc=homologacoes,dc=aena,dc=int" as dn column for LDAP.
So, each user will be this own dn complete.
It works for me.

Re: LDAP invalid name, how to solve this .... VERY IMPORTANT !!!!!!

Hi,

I show you my configuration (pictures).

You can see with the first that my DN Base is empty (picture 1). For the admin, the dn is complete (user field).

BUT for each user, I generate the dn in the tMap output (picture 2).

Regards

The BAD_NAME error:
Error: com.macromedia.contribute.server.exception.DBException: Error in searchForUserList from LDAP plugin: [DN]: [LDAP: error code 34 - 0000208F: NameErr: DSID-031001B3, problem 2006 (BAD_NAME), data 8350, best match of: '[DN],' ] javax.naming.InvalidNameException

Cause: An incorrectly formatted DN was specified.

Hum...
I'm not sure that using the samAccountName attribut is a good idea.
Try with UserPrincipalName = login@domainName

Re: LDAP invalid name, how to solve this .... VERY IMPORTANT !!!!!!

What is the rev of your OS server ?
Windows 2003, 2008 ?

Had you try with the UserPrincipalName ?

Can your samAccountName  attribut have only integers chars ?
