Hello Vin,
take a look on this thread:
http://www.talendforge.org/forum/viewtopic.php?id=774
On my PC (Windows Vista Home Premium, 32bit) it does not work.
Perhaps someone from the Talend-Team can give us a information about the actual state regarding the migration to Eclipse 3.3

Thanks! That sounds very good! I'll give it a try this weekend.

Hi Michaël,
I've used 2.2.0M2 with vista (but only a smal set of functions) and actual no problem found.
Additional I tried to compile the actual trunk but I have problems with missing packages. Do you have a list of all needet components to compile TOS?

Hello,
For 2.2.0M2, you'll need an eclipse 3.3 with EMF, GMF, GEF, WST, JST, JET (don't forget to click on "Select required") and possibly Checkstyle and Subversive.
Internally, we have ready started to use eclipse, would you be interested in?

I would be very interested...

I've installed all librarys and I'm (compile)error free!
But If I try to start the programm I get exceptions. A null pointer in the repository view and a null pointer at LanguageManager.
Do I need any data for initializing? I did not get the dialog to create a new workspace...

Hi Cedric,
now I'm a big step further. I could start TOS but I get the "Jasper-branding" version.
If this could be the problem, I double checked it: I start "branding.tos.product" and not "branding.jasper.product".

In fact, you have to deselect other branding plugins (org.talend.rcp.branding.*) and only select org.talend.rcp.branding.tos, to have the good one.

I get it. But now (I hope the last hint I will need): How could I import (or use) an existing workspace. Import seems not to work.
