I am interested in getting the contents of tMaps and tFilters into a 3rd Party Metadata management tool.

Is there any mechanism for reliably getting this data into a tool-friendly format?

I have been investigating using the tMap,xml file that the app generates when you deploy, but this introduces a high level of dependency with the version, etc... and also takes a considerable amount of XML parsing to get at.

Any one else try this?
