Hi all,

Yesterday i download TOS from talend site. as per there instruction i try to install TOS in Ubuntu (11.04 32bit ) Machine. Here is some following step i have done.

1. Machine Information
Linux ******* 2.6.38-11-generic #50-Ubuntu SMP Mon Sep 12 21:18:14 UTC 2011 i686 i686 i386 GNU/Linux

2. I follow every step as per in that site "http://www.talendforge.org/wiki/doku.php?id=doc:installation_on_ubuntu"

3. I already install latest version of java, java-jdk and other essential package in ubuntu.

4. When i try to install it a talend screen popup but after it, i get below error every time, i try to search a lot in talend wiki or forum but didnt found any link regarding my problem.

Please help me to resolve it.. i try my best but i dont have any idea about such problem..

Hi
I search the error on google and found that it seems the problem occurs when you execute the application with the user 'root', have a try to use a general user to install the application.

Yes you are right it is due to the user root,
