Talend community forum / Unable to open Talend AMC in Talend Administrator window

I am new to Talend. I have just completed installing Talend enterprise on Windows 2008 Server with default installation settings. When I try to access AMC, I get "AMC URL is not correctly set" message.
By default the url is "http://localhost:8081/amc". Any suggestion? Thank you.

Hi

Before you go to the AMC page, you are required to create a DB connection pointed to the AMC database first, to do so: Go to Dashboards-->connections and add a new DB connection pointed to the AMC database, if the AMC database does not exist yet, please read the user doc TalendActivityMonitoringConsole_UG_xxx_EN.pdf to know how to use Talend AMC.

Thanks Shong. I did go through the doc, there was an option either to choose csv file or DB tables in order to store log information, and I selected csv option.

I will try again creating the database and see if works that way.
