cFTP setup to get files that match a pattern

Hi all,
I have setup a cFTP component in a mediation route to get some files with extension xml using option include="*\\.xml"
It connects to ftp, but is not getting any file. I also have tried include="^\\w*(.xml)" with same results.
Any hints on how to properly setup this?
