Currently the extracted files consume around 285 MB. If the size could be reduced to below 100MB it would be helpful to have on virtualized desktop solutions.
Currently I have a company virtual desktop which allows me to do work using tools either provided by the company, or "portable" tools (no install required). However, I'm only given 150MB to use for these and my working files.

Sorry. It's hard to reduce Talend Open Studio to below 100MB.
It has to contain UI files, component source files and even third party jar files.
For now, the "portable" version is not available.
