Logging Reject Record and Error Logging

Hi,

I am doing a one to one mapping and moving data from sql server(source) to oracle(target) using tMap. My requirement is that, I want to capture all the Reject records from my output table if any during the process and capture in a File. Also i need to capture oracle errors or other warnings into the same. Can you help me how i can do it in Talend?

Thanks

Re: Logging Reject Record and Error Logging

Hi SUNDARESAN V

Change the 'Action on data' into 'Insert or Update'.
Then right click on 'tOracleOutput'. You will find 'Row->Rejects' to capture reject rows.

Pedro

Re: Logging Reject Record and Error Logging

Hi  Pedra,

I am using talend 4.1.3 version . So here, as per your instruction i don't see an option of "ROW--> REJECTS" when i choose the action on data as "Insert or Update". Attaching the Screen shots of those. And when i use the reject records , it should not affect my commit interval by any cause. Can it be taken care also?

Thanks
