Password Context bug?

Tags: [bug, context]

I'm using Talend Open Studio ESB 5.1.1.  When i create a new context variable and set it as a password type, when i give it a default value, the password value is shown, rather than encrypted (i.e. ******).  I don't have this issue with Talend Open Studio DI, so I assume this is a bug with Talend Open Studio ESB?

Re: Password Context bug?

What component are you using?  Could you provide a screenshot?

Re: Password Context bug?

Sorry for the delayed response.  This issue isn't specific to a component.  It's when you setup a context variable and define it as a "password" type.  Screen shots attached.  Notice in the "Values as Table" view, the password i have entered is shown in plain text.  When I do the same thing in TOS Data Integration, the password is shown as "*******".

Thanks Shong.  I have opened TESB-6289 in JIRA.
