Can I use main rows as lookup in tMap or tJoin?

Hi,

I found the answer on this questions in Talend Knowledge Base but it was posted in 2008 year. The post name is "Can I create a loop job linking the same source to the same target?"

My question is if the limitation to use main rows in lookup was removed.

I've attached the screenshot. I need to link "Extract unique" to "Remove duplicates"

Thanks.

Re: Can I use main rows as lookup in tMap or tJoin?

Hi

Sorry. For now, loop job linking is still forbidden in Talend job.
We are trying to solve this issue in this year.
You might use tHashOutput component to save the temporary values and get them in a subjob with the tHashInput component.
