How to save the results of Open Profiler analyses

Tags: [analysis, result, save]

I have created some analyses and run them OK.  The analysis results page is useful, but I want to save results so I can compare improvement (or not) over time.  Is there a way to save the results?

Also, is it possible to schedule analyses?  I have a lot to run (> 1000) and want to schedule them to run weekly/monthly etc.

Hi Gary,

These two features and other (data quality monitoring,  analysis execution scheduling, reporting in pdf...) are actually not available in Talend Open Profiler, but they are part of the Talend Data Quality studio. This platform is available upon subscription (see http://www.talend.com/products-data-qua … uality.php ).

I couldn't find anything that would let us buy (or even evaluate) TDQ on this page.  The Store seems to infer that the only way we can get TDQ is to purchase the Suite, then select TDQ as an option.  Since we don't need the Suite (all we really want is to be able to report out the Analysis Results, so even some of the features of TDQ aren't of interest to us), is there an (easy) way to just get TDQ without all the un-needed bells and whistles?

Thank you: I'm not the only one who would pay money for this, without wanting to cough up for the rest of it.

Re: How to save the results of Open Profiler analyses

Indeed, TDQ is offered as an option of the Integration Suite. There are several levels in the Integration Suite and it's always possible to purchase the level which satisfies your needs.  I invite you to contact sales@talend.com if you want to get more information about the different possibilities to get Talend Data Quality.

One reason why TDQ is provided within the Integration Suite is that is also provides automated ETL jobs which helps you to handle your data quality issues. For example, when you need to deduplicate some data or fix data which do not obey some patterns...

Thanks, Sebastiao.  Since we already have other ETL tools, paying for something we don't need is quite a waste.  I'll contact your sales group, but it seems that you would be ahead if you considered having TDQ as a stand-alone product.
