Hello,
Nice to read it.
I'm especially interested in this new feature "Share a database connection between 2 jobs" (in order to perform a commit only at the end of a group of subjobs).
I was wondering something... What kind of import is realised by Talend ? Just a file copy or does it check the compatibility ?
Best regards,
Nicolas

The Talend development team has spent the last 6 months on the 3.1 branch new features. We're about to release the 3.1.0GA, scheduled for April 27, 2009. That is to say in just about one week.
If you wonder how to contribute to such a great product like Talend Open Studio, then please consider becoming Talend beta tester. You don't need any development skills, just use your Talend Open Studio as usual, and report any problem that you encounter. Your feedback is highly valuable to us! So don't hesitate!
Become beta-tester now! And simply follow the steps:
1. In your current version of Talend Open Studio (3.0.4 for instance), export all items
2. Download Talend Open Studio 3.1.0RC3 from http://www.talend.com/download.php
3. Install 3.1.0RC3 on your computer
4. Launch 3.1.0RC3 and create a new project
5. Import the previously exported items
6. Play with your jobs as usual
Obviously you may wonder what's new in this release?!

TeamSynchronization perspective
JSword and Bible Desktop are being actively developed in Eclipse. While this is not an endorsement of Eclipse, you will find project files for Eclipse that will speed your ability to develop JSword. You may use any other means of developing JSword, but we may not be able to provide guidance.

I've been waiting for the bulk insert! It's always such a pain to enter the data one line at a time.
