Hi I just installed the new release and migrated a workspace to it. Running compliance check now produces an error
The method parse(string) in the type dateformat is not applicable for the arguments(Date).
The field is "Time" it is set to type "Date" with a pattern of "MM/dd/yy hh:mm aa"
This worked fine in Talend 3.0.
Seems like this is a bug, but if the Talend folks have any other input then I'd love to hear it.
Thanks,
Bluesin

Hello,
I've got two things to ask :
1. Was this bug reported ?
2. I do not encounter any JAVA error with my data field. However, all my data using this field are rejected.
Does anyone encounter this issue ?
Is it linked to this bug ?
Thank you in advance.
Best regards,
Nicolas

Hi,
Ok, nice bluesin
.
@ Talend team :
Will it solve my pb ?
I have no Java error (TOS 3.1.1) but all my data are rejected when I have a date field in my schemas (it worked fine in 3.0 & I've just imported my jobs).
Thank you in advance.
Best regards,
Nicolas

Hi Shong,
Ok. Anyway, I've posted my issue on the bugtracker (http://talendforge.org/bugs/view.php?id=7586)... I'm running my jobs in Java whereas i've just seen this pb was for Perl language. Sorry for disrupting this topic.
Regards,
Nicolas
