First off I am very new to talend, its a great product It helped me migrate my database from one system to the next with the limited knowledge I have. There is one last thing I need to do to finish my migration and i just need to update a column in a table that matches a join from another 2 tables.... please let me know what I am doing wrong or point me in the right direction. This might even be a simple mysql query that I can use ?? I been killing myself trying to figure it out on my own for the past 2 days... below is the screen shot of what I am trying, I am using Update, it will go through the whole process and say X amount of rows processed but nothing is written to the table..
This is what I need to do ...
I have two tables accountscf and contactscf
accountcf.cf540 = contacscf.cf542 ... these tables match on those fields...
The 3rd table is the table i need to update its called contactdetails. So i need to match the accountID from accountscf to contactdetails.accountid where cf540 and cf542 match... am I explaining this right ?
Please help me!
