Palette not available on Linux

Hello,
I installed TOS Version 2.4.0M2 on Ubuntu 8.04 and the palette reports "A palette is not available" and I can't figure out why. I installed it with the Java option and the JAR's are installed, but still no palettes.

At work I have TOS installed on Windows, but at home I use Linux
Any ideas?

Hello,

I've got an Ubuntu on my machine installed on my machine and I haven't found the same problem. I've you open a job in order to see the palette?

ha ha.
Ok, another newbie mistake. That was it. I was think i need the palettes to make the job.  I had to make the job to see the palettes.
Ok...got it now.
