I downloaded the zip file and installed it on Linux with both the Perl and Java options. I ran the tutorial and got the Java "Hello World" ok box just fine. I really wanted to see the program work with simulated real data and thought that's what the Demo Project would provide. Did I misunderstand the rep or is there some sample corporate data that I can quickly make a decent demo out of?
Thank you,

Hello
Please read this [Forum, topic 2568] Où trouver des fichiers exemples ? Where to find files examples ?

Thank you. That did help explain things--but I still don't see a demo. Maybe I am expecting the wrong presentation or messed up something else.
I loaded and ran the "beforeRunJobs 0.1" after a couple of seconds (flashing dialog says "build job") focus left the "kill" button and the screen still just looked like a typical perspective of the Eclipse IDE. I confirmed the diagram objects (retrieve zip from talendforge, and unarchive zip on your harddisk...) and checked the Documentation node.
in.zip was there and had been unarchived in C:/talend_files (it may have already been in place, I don't know). I installed it on a Linux machine so the directory was named 'C:' and the subdirectory was named 'talend_files'. The 'in' subdir was below that.
Now when I try to run helloWorld (demo01_Java.01) in the t3_DemoRoutines from the JobDesigns node. I get the "build job" notification window but no hello world ok dialog. I am looking for an application with bar charts or diagrams or something with "Foodmart", "Regional Sales" fields, etc., but don't see it. None of the other t3_DemoRoutine jobs worked either.
Can you give me a few more hints?
Thanks,
