Hi,
Talend does not currently provide components with native support for Informix.
Most talend functionalities are available with ODBC connections.
Another option is to create your own database component.
A perl connector is available here : http://cpan.uwinnipeg.ca/cpan/authors/i … 226.tar.gz
and this wiki section describes how to create a custom component : http://www.talendforge.org/wiki/doku.ph … _creation.
tOracle components are good templates to duplicate.

Because I came across this thread just now as the only google search result for my query, I thought it really relevant to close the gap here and say that talend appears to support Informix over jdbc now.

Yes, Talend support informix database now, tInformixInput, tInformixOutput and tInformixRow are available.
