Using tdb2Output for CLOB fields

Tags: [clob, db2, object]

Hi,

I am trying to insert values into a CLOB field into a table of DB2 Database. I am using Talend v3.0.1 (Build id: r19980-20081110-0845), and I am using the tdb2Output Component for this purpose.

By default Talend set the type for the Clob column as "Object". It gives a "Java type 1111 not supported error" in that case.

I changed the type to "String". But now the process just hangs on the line where it tries to execute the Inert/Update query. Is this a known issue with tdb2Output in Talend?

Thanks,
Varun
