Bonjour,
I'm generating a text file using a TOS job from my Windows environment and I would like the file to be readily readable from my Macintosh.
I'm generating a text file using a TOS job (tFileOutputDelimited component with Encode Type: ISO-8859-15) on my Windows platform. I would like to generate the same file readily readable for Quicken on my Mac which seems to be only able to read MacRoman file encoding. Therefore my question: Is there a CUSTOM encoding equivalent to MacRoman in TOS?
The TOS generated text file (Encoding Type: "ISO-8859-15") once on the Mac shows as "ISO-8859-1 (Latin 1)" in TextMate (displayed when I do a Save As). If I don't modify the file, Quicken won't show the appropriate accentuated characters as opposed to if I change the file encoding in TextMate as "MacRoman", then Quicken picks-up the right accentuated accents. I would like to avoid going through this extra-step of going through TextMate in order to achieve my end and completely accomplish my transformation solely on TOS. It is an ETL after all!!!
Thanks.
