I am new to Talend and we are using versioning tool as SVN.
When I tried configuring with Talend with SVN, got the below error

Steps:
1. Opened Talend MDM Studio 4.0.2.
2. Go to Help Menu-->software Updated--->Find and Install --->Search New Features to install
3. Create new remote site with below url.
http://download.eclipse.org/technology/ … date-site/

Error:

Current configuration contains errors that are not corrected by the requested operation and more errors would be introduced. See details for more information.
----- Current configuration problems -----
Designer Feature (4.0.2.r43696) requires plug-in "com.ibm.icu (3.8.1.1)", or compatible.
----- Configuration problems after the operation -----
Designer Feature (4.0.2.r43696) requires plug-in "com.ibm.icu (3.8.1.1)", or compatible.

Talend MDM Studio info
Version: 4.0.2
Build id: r43696-20100604-1024

Please advise me to resolve the issue.

There are some problem to use the software Updated to install softwares in Talend. We do not recommand you to use this way.

i believe the version control that you are looking for is done automagically in the Talend paid-for version.
if you need the enterprise capabilities then the enterprise has to pay..

however, TOS has its own version control system which you can manually create new versions - but it is not the same as svn.
