Hi,

We have a client that works on SCM. The problems they face is with integrating
their system to different systems like SAP/PeopleSoft/Oracle etc of their clients.
So each time a new systems comes, they create a customised webservice for it and download the data from
it into theirs system.
Then the process of Transformation etc is done in their Oracle database.
The data also comes in from GPS devices for tracking purposes of the vehicles which is used to map the location of the
vehicle suing a geofence table of Lat/Longs. Everything is REALTIME here!!

I am listing out the features and benefits they can get by using a Single ETL system(Talend)
that can integrate with all external systems and perform the transformations as required without
putting much pressurs in the Database.

Pls suggest, how and what is a good to go about this!

I am thinking of suggesting Talend for the process. But is it a good idea for the scenario???...
What benefits can be driven???
