Talend Artifact Repository
Talend Administration Center is provided together with an artifact repository based on Apache Archiva (since version 5)

We had several problems which seemed to come from version conflicts, when working in a team, which doesn't had the exactly the same patch level inlcuding hotfixes. Several members of the team opened a project (although different time) and hat problems. This should be solved with the new Artifact repo.

The problem of synchronizing workbenches is oviously not solved with this integration of archiva. The problem is that the programm generator works differently, depending on who checks out the project. THis occurs not only on different patch levels of the workbench but also when having  one (or more)  addtl components (like tlog4j) into the set of components for a whole team.

Can we integrate addtl components into the archiva envrionement?

Everybody who is in charge to provide a workbench configuration for a team which is identical on each team-member pc knows that this is a task which cannot be done manually.

Any suggestion or comments welcome - If you feel having the same problem, please comment here, so Talend gets some motivation to work on this.
