I completed the installation of Talend 5.0.1 on a Microsoft Windows Server (2033 R2 Enterprise x64 Edition, Service Pack 2) I confirmed that the Tomcat and TAC installation went ok, but the SVN directory in the install path is still empty. Prior to the Talend install there was no SVN installed on the platform. Would it have been installed with the Talend 5.0.1 install, or do I need to install it manually?
I am trying to provide access to a remote team of developers using the SVN.
How do I:
1. Verify that the SVN installation completed?
2. Identify the URL for the SVN repository?
3. Start the repository service so I can connect projects to it?
Thanks.

Hi Scott
It seems you have solved this issue.
You can set TAC->Configuration->Svn(3 Parameters) as the following image manually to connect to remote svn server.

Hi,
I am trying to figure out how I can work with SVN through Talend. I am using Talend Open Studio and although I have seen many posts on forum explaining how you can add svn plugins in Talend, I cannot figure out how.
Does svn plugins like subversive work only with the Talend Integration Suite or can I also install it on the Talend Open Studio? Because, when I click Help -> Install New Software, I am getting the message:
"Cannot complete the request. This installation has not been configured properly for Software Updates."
Thank you in advance for your help.

Hi Panagiota
Talend only supports SVN integration feature for commercial version(TIS).
TIS users can get technical support and product line to congifure SVN environment.
If you want to work with SVN through Talend, this topic [Forum, topic 12873] Compilation issue while setting up TalendOS 4.1.0 source code may help you.
