Data Quality Analyst will be part of the ERP teams with a focus on improving data quality in the Netsuite CRM data base. This individual will be responsible for ETL processes and tools as well as database loading and manipulation to ensure that the data needs are met throughout the course of the projects. This is a temporary position, with expected project completion within 8 – 14 weeks after coming onboard.

Working on Talend SME/Admin role in Tampa FL for my banking client. 8 month project with possible extension.

The CATE Talend ETL team requires an on-shore consultant for an initial 8-month contract (maternity leave cover). The candidate must have solid hands-on experience of using Talend Integration Suite in a development role as part of a large ETL project. The candidate will be involved in a number of technical projects that involve integrating Talend with other systems and applications. This will involve working at source code level with Talend and therefore require someone with extensive Java experience and, ideally, past experience of working on Open Source coding projects. They must also have experience of writing Talend custom components.

Responsibilities include:

- Assisting teams to on-board to Talend and setting up their environment
- Providing subject matter expertise on request to teams requiring help with job design and development
- Production support in the event of an outage
- Level 1-3 support to developers using Talend
- Packaging Talend products for distribution internally
- Development of interfaces to other systems and environments, including Big Data and Grid
- Development of custom Talend components

Qualifications/Technical Skills

- 5+ years IT experience
- 2+ years Talend Integration Suite (certification preferred)
- 5+ years Java (certification preferred)
- 2+ years J2EE
- 2+ years RDBMS
- 2+ year Unix scripting
- Experience of SDLC and ALM tools
- Preferred – Experience of Java EMF framework
- Preferred – Business Rules, especially Drools
- Preferred – Experience of BigData/Hadoop, especially Pig and Hive

Soft Skills

- Extremely strong communication skills –both written and spoken English
- Team player
- Enthusiastic
