[Security for Webservice call]

For the component tWebServiceInput_1, you can specify

i) Authentication using user/pass
AND
ii) Apply SSL and provide your own cert

(see Diagram 2 below)

If one were to not use a WSDL but a simple REST service - represented here using tREST (or tRESTRequest) - HOW and WHERE would you configure these items (Authentication and SSL Cert)

(see Diagram 1 below)

I understand that "Authentication headers" for REST service calls may be added in Diagram2 - but how would one go about it ? How do you add and configure these headers ?

Thanks
-A

Re: [Security for Webservice call]

Hi

I'm not sure whether it will work, but you might have a try.
Modity the header as the following image with your own username and password.

Pedro

Re: [Security for Webservice call]

Hi Pedro:

Thanks for your response !

This facilitates authentication - but we are still stuck with the question of using SSL/Certs while trying to access the HTTPS:// webservice URL.

Would you have any suggestions re: that ?

Thanks
