[resolved] Why value space is changed to ' in Talend when bulk operation?

Hi Experts,

Please help. I try to use the bulk insert with drive Ingres and Ingres bulk components to load data into DB, but I find that original value space ' ' (The value only has space) is changed to '' in the result, so how to avoid it and keep the original value space? Please help, thank you.

Hi Peter

Which input component do you use?
Maybe you have select 'Trim all columns' checkbox.

I used the component tIngresOutputBulkExec. And for source, I do not select the checkbox.

I mean input component, not output component.

Sorry my fault.

The input component is tOracleInput and tVectorWiseInput, they all have the issue. And I do not select the trim checkbox, and I could see spaces ' ' in the flat file. But ... in the result.

It seems this component will trim column wrongly.
