Hi
I use the metadata : connection (tPostgrsqlInput), group of contexte (job's variables), generic schema (tFileInputdelimited), ...
Very often, when I open a job, many of metadata are lost.
Upon opening, the metadata are present in the project :
Any idea ?
Does anybody have the same problem ?
Best regards

Hi Pedro
No it isn't the same as AnuRaj's case.
My problem occurs without the job is shared (no import/export). I create a job , I use existing metadata. It works fine. When I re-open it, very often but not always, there's the message (cf. screenshot) and the metadata are lost.
After a correction, this happens again ...
What is wrong ?

Hi
As I said: "very often, but not always".
Many jobs of my project are concerned.
In the past, some jobs where exported/imported.
But, now I see this behavior often without doing any import/export.
I open a job with "OK for Built-on", I change (contexte, schema, connection) on metadate.
I validate and I close the job.
On the next "open", the same message appear and invite me to changing all in "Built-in".
Any solution ?

Hi
In fact, I encountered it several days before.
When I changed all Repositories into Built-in and save this job, it works fine.
Please send me an email and attach these jobs. I hope I can reproduce this issue.

Pedro

Hi Pedro
It's done : a mail was sent with the project export and the subject : Reply to topic: '[TOS 5.0.2] loss of metadata'
It is as if the Metadata definition is incorrect or corrupt.
Upon opening, the links can not be identified.

Hi Pedro
What did you try :
- import of jobs (into existing project)
- import of project (= create a new project)?
I've exported the project (not elements) , I can import and open from this file.
Regards
P.S.
I've sent you another export file

Hi
Sorry for my delay to answer.
I talked with my co-worker. They said they encountered this issue before.
It might be a bug. But I can't reproduce it...
Please report it on BugTracker.

Pedro
