How to use Hadoop/MapReduce on own cluster other than TOS?

Hi all,

We have our own cluster running CDH3u2 and we would like to utilize it through TOS. However I do not see how I can do so within TOS.

For example, when using tPigLoad, even though I can point hdfs uri to our own cluster, I can only use the Hadoop distribution supplied by TOS.

If you have any past experience, instructions or comments it would be very appreciated. Thank you all.

Regards,
Chris

hi

I take it you've select "Mode = Mapreduce - Cloudera" ?

What errors are you getting in TOS or indeed on the Cloudera side?
