Run the scenario

  1. Download this archive :performances:scenario_3_project.zip and use Talend import project to add BENCH_SCENARIO3 into your own workspace.
  2. Download and extract this archive :performances:scenario_3_data.zip to create the benchmark working directory. Input lookup files and output directory are located here.
  3. Open the BENCH_SCENARIO3 project and change the tMysqlOutput component properties of the scenario3_0_create_input job. This job creates and fills the input table used by the scenario3_1_benchmark_job job. Set the Host, Database, Port, User, Password properties to connect to your MySql database.
  4. Run scenario3_0_create_input job and wait for completion.
  5. Open scenario3_1_benchmark_job and check the Exec time option in the Run view.
  6. Run scenario3_1_benchmark_job and set the working_dir context parameter when prompted. This is the directory where lookup files are located and ouput files created.
