Re: Regarding HL7 v3.0

We are an hospital and we use norm HL7  for send message between our applications.

An HL7 message type is a unique identifier for the business purpose of a message. Every message must contain a message type id as way to announce the purpose of the message. For example, ADT is a unique message ID to Patient Administration.

Here is the realization:
1 use of perl module hl7
2 creation of the message Hl7 in perl.

 use Switch;
 use Net::HL7::Connection;
 use Net::HL7::Request;
 use Net::HL7::Message;
use Net::HL7::Segment;
use Net::HL7::Segments::MSH;
my $conn = new Net::HL7::Connection('xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx',xxxx);
$conn || die "Couldn't connect";
 my $req = new Net::HL7::Request();
 my $msg = new Net::HL7::Message();
 my $segment = new Net::HL7::Segments::MSH();
-----
 $str ="MSH|^~\\&||HAP|||||ADT^A01|$numevt|P|2.3|||NE\r";
$str .="EVN|A01||$Date_Inter\r";
$str.="PID||@output_row[2]|$IPP||@output_row[6]^@output_row[8]|@output_row[7]|@output_row[9]|@output_row[10]|||@output_row[11]^^@output_row[13]^^@output_row[12]||@output_row[17]||||||\r";
$str .="PV1|1|I|@output_row[15]||||||||||||||||@output_row[4]|||||||||||||||||||||||||@output_row[5]";
my $msg = new Net::HL7::Message($str);
my $response1 = $conn->send($msg);

Re: Regarding HL7 v3.0

broy, thanks for your piece of code. Can you give us more details?

- Do you use a tPerlFlex?
- The piece of code sends a message as far as I understand, right?
- How specific is the string you send?
- does the tPerlFlex has a schema?

I'm really interested in this component as well. I see the bug tracker lists this component for target release for Talend 3.2. Any updates on how it's coming along?

Thanks,
