Monitor a Directory 24/7

Hi All,
I need to monitor a directory for file changes like(create, modify, delete). Talend have a component(twaitforfile) to monitor a dir.
while i running my job in tac it showing java heap space error in (twaitforfile) component. I have already increased the heap space memory to 12GB within 5-6 hrs it showing the same (java heap ssapce error). Is there any-other way to monitor a dir(recursively)...?

Re: Monitor a Directory 24/7

Hi,
Did you execute your job successfully in studio with no error? Is there any more error message in TAC log? Could you please indicate what's the build version you are using?
Best regards
Sabrina

What is the job doing? Just monitoring a folder should not be using that much memory.

Have you considered using the ESB product for this problem? Having a Talend DI job running continuously is not ideal.
