Working in the Integration Services team, you will be primarily responsible for creation of Data Feeds between systems of record and University IT applications.
Substantial practical experience of designing and maintaining data flows and applications is essential, along with experience of customer engagement in an application integration context. Excellent data manipulation, systems integration and documentation skills are required in order to effectively support the delivery of the Data Feed service.
The role would suit those with experience of one or more of: ETL tools and approaches (e.g. Talend), SQL, Database administration, web services, Java applications and JSON.
You will be required to liaise with corporate customers and explain the University’s data architecture, in order to design mutually agreed and documented data feeds.
You will possess a high degree of self-motivation and a demonstrated ability to learn skills on the job and a commitment to self-development.
The role forms part of the Infrastructure Systems Analyst job family, based in the Infrastructure section of the IT Service.
