Extremely new to talend and ETLM in general

I am trying to add a time delay right before an Excel File input, but I can't seem to get TSleep to connect to the fileinput.  Can someone guide me on how this can be done?

I am using a powershell script to insert a date time field that isn't present in my incoming JSON.  I have the JSON -> Excel -> Sleep to make sure JSON to Excel is done -> Powershell -> Sleep to make sure powershell is done -> Excel File Input to Amazon RDS.

The other option I can't seem to figure out is how to take the JSON to excel and add a snapshot datetime column and then output to Amazon RDS; if someone can guide me on how Talend can add the snapshot datetime, then I can get rid of the powershell and sleeps.
