Change the priority for tImplicitContext load in Project settings

Hi,

Can we change the priority in project properties for job settings to 1 for tImplicitContext load.

What is the problem:

1) Load context file first
2) use those variables to create
1) database and
2) tables

I am using Talend OS 5.3

Please let me know how we can do this?

Thanks
Vaibhav

Hi Vaibhav

Can we change the priority in project properties for job settings to 1 for tImplicitContext load.

Sorry, I don't understand your question well, do you want the 'use project settings' option to be unchecked when a new job is created?

Re: Change the priority for tImplicitContext load in Project settings

Hi Shong,

Following is the scenario.

1) You want to enable project level logs (error, meter and stats) for all the job within your project
2) Project is going to create database for the project logging at the time of first deployment
3) One of the job in the project is responsible for database creation

Here is the problem
When you enable the project level logging and execute the job, it tries to connect to the database and fails. Reason for this is that the database itself was not created, how it can insert.

So, my question was, when we enable the project level logging how that scenario is going to work for above situation?

I think now you can get some sense of my question in the post.

Thanks
Vaibhav

Hi Vaibhav

I understand your question now, but you have to create the database first before you run the job, because it is always trying to connect to the database and log message into the stat table at the beginning of job no matter what job you run.
