[resolved] How to contribute back to the project

I created a ticket this morning for a bug in the tS3Get component: https://jira.talendforge.org/browse/TDI-29870

I could easily fix this issue myself, and would like to do so. Is it possible for users to contribute back to the Talend project, since it is open source?

Open Source does not mean you can commit something. It means you can read the sources and create your own fork (I would not do this ;-)
The nest way is to add your patch to the ticket as attachment and some explanations. Such kind of tickets usually will checked and accepted by the Talend developers. I have done such things and now some of the patches are part of the next release.
