posting questions into the forum

Hello,
How do I post questions with my own user name?
I have registered by clicking on the top right corner "Register" option.  At talend.com it seems to recognize my user.  My user seem to have access to talendforge. When I then click the forum link, I see on the top of the page the message "You are not logged in.".
The Name that I use to post says it is taken (it's mine) and does not allow me to use it.  When I post with a different user it displays as a guest.  How do I post questions with my user name?

When I click the preview, it comes back with 2 errors:

  • Control bot is wrong, please enter true value

  • Someone is already registered with the username asadri. The username you entered is too similar. The username must differ from that by at least one alphanumerical character (a-z or 0-9). Please choose a different username.

The compose window does not show any control bot. How do I resolve these?

Hi,
What's the brower you are using?
Could you please try to repro your login issue on other browers to see if it is OK with you? Have you ever posted an issue using your account name into forum successfully?
What's your account? asadri?
Best regards
Sabrina

Hi Yomagi,

What's your username? Does this issue repro on other browsers? Have you tried to reset your password to see if it works?
@asadri1, Is there any update for your issue?

Best regards
Sabrina

The issue is with the Windows 10 IE 11 version 11.63.10586.0

Hi guys,
We have already fixed this login issue. Could you please check it?
@asadri, thanks for your feedback. Would you mind clearing the cookies of your IE to see if it works? Did this issue only repro on your IE 11?
Best regards
Sabrina

We see that you posted your issue as a member not GUEST. What's the error message you're getting? Did you have 2 accounts?

Hi nishad.dheeraj2,
Here is a component TalendHelpCenter:tREST which is used to serve as a REST Web service client that sends HTTP requests to a REST Web service provider and gets the responses.
Best regards
