processing time

Could you indicate the parameter setting necessary to see the total time of a treatment?

Re: processing time

This parameter does not exist... yet. Here is a clean solution to display the execution time of your job.

In your job, add 2 tPerl components, the first one must be executed first in the job, the second one must be executed last in the job. See the attached screenshot to have an example.

In the first tPerl, put the following code:

use Time::HiRes qw(gettimeofday tv_interval);
$_globals{start} = [gettimeofday];

In the seconde tPerl, put the following code:

use Time::HiRes qw(gettimeofday tv_interval);
printf(
    "===\n%.2f seconds\n===\n",
    tv_interval($_globals{start}, [gettimeofday])
);

At the end, the Perl script will display the execution time as this:

===
0.57 seconds

This feature will be a standard function in Talend Open Studio 1.1M1, see [Feature] 239 and [Feature] 240
